TRACI HAWKINS, AG PC NP
Traci Hawkins, a board certified Nurse Practitioner and the founder and owner of Urbane Aesthetiks Medspa in Richardson, Texas. She started her career after graduating from Texas Woman's University 2000 with a Bachelors of Science and a Major in Nursing. Her journey as a nurse began at Parkland Hospital in the Trauma ICU unit. As her career evolved in critical care, she also worked as a PICC line nurse and as a clinical thoracic specialist for Atrium, a medical device company. Traci has an immense passion for entrepreneurship which cultivated Urbane Scrubs.
In 2013, her undeniable passion for aesthetics was born and in 2014, Urbane Aesthetiks was open. Her passions for beauty and helping others collided in 2020 when she opened Urbane Academy - a program that caters to the mentorship and support of fellow nurses and aspiring injectors. Traci has an unequivocal love for empowering women to feel their best as an advanced treatment provider and educator.
DESIREE LOW, RN BSN
Desiree Low is nurse injector and skincare treatment provider at Urbane Aesthetiks.After she graduated from Texas Woman’s University in 2002 with a Bachelors in Science and a Major in Nursing, she went on to complete a Critical Care and Trauma Nurse Internship in 2003 and has worked at Parkland Hospital in Critical Care since. In March of 2022, Desiree began her aesthetics journey at the Urbane Academy under the direction of Traci Hawkins. In addition to guiding women to looking and feeling like their most beautiful selves and spending time with her daughter, Desiree continues to practice at Parkland in the Neuroscience ICU.
CARRIE NEMEH, RN BSN
Carrie Nemeh has been a registered nurse since 2017. Originally from Southern California, she received a BA in Communication in 2013 from California State University Channel Islands andwent on to receive her ADN from College of the Canyons, Santa Clarita in 2017. She began her practice as a registered nurse in San Antonio, Texas in 2017 and received her BSN from UT Arlington in 2022. With 6 years of experience working in acute care and doing travel nursing contracts, she realized it was time to plant roots and start the next chapter in her career. In 2023 Carrie relocated to McKinney, TX and enrolled in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at TWU and will be graduating as a Nurse Practitioner in Summer of 2025. Also in 2023, Carrie began the pursuit of her passion as a nurse injector and started in the Urbane Academy to grow her skills within aesthetics. After completing a three-month mentorship with Traci Hawkins, she was offered a role to continue her journey as an intern at Urbane Aesthetiks and never looked back!
Carrie’s “why” is to help people feel seen and comfortable in their own skin. As someone who used to feel intimidated by self-care, she understands that it can be a struggle to start. Carrie’s driving belief is that everyone deserves to feel welcomed and empowered to partake in their journey to look and feel their absolute best. Everyone’s aesthetic and wellness journey starts somewhere. It is never too late, or too soon, to start yours.
DR. DEE L. MARTINEZ MD
Dr. Dee Martinez has been a the medical director for Urbane Aesthetiks for 10 years. His knowledge, expertise and passion for aesthetics has made him an industry leader cosmetic enhancements. While maintaining his position as the Chief of Radiology at North Texas Imaging, a position he’s held since 1999, Dr. Martinez has resided over a number of med spas in the Dallas area where he used his experience as cosmetic injector and laser provider to spread beauty throughout his client base.
